Trained as a graphic designer, Myra has spent over 22 years working for high-tech clients. Her introduction to computer graphics was in 1983 and it directed her focus towards technology. Her experimentation with digital painting started in 1994 when she was designing computer training interfaces and web sites. Drawing upon her experience in model building and package design, she started crafting wearable art pieces in 1996. From jewelry to clocks, fountains and fabric, Myra plans to take the medium as far as it will go.

In an effort to: educate the public, help other designers find unusual materials, and inspire kids of all ages to "get their hands dirty" and make "art", Myra launched NotJustPartz.com, a unique site she and PJ are quite proud of. Myra designed a series of "Twisted Kitz" for the beginner or hobbyist, PJ's glass nuggets and cabachons are there for wire wrappers and seasond jewelrymakers. The signature fractal watch faces are there for designers to make their own time-telling wearables, and designer papers for origami and decoupage.

mugshotAfter her degree in Arts, Crafts and Interior Design at the University of Tennessee, PJ dabbled in several different media before focusing on glass. She's been a professional glass artist since 1985, operating as PJs Touch of Glass. In 1992, her interest "morphed" from "cold" glass to "warm" glass, adding a division named PJewelry. "Warm" is a misleading term, though, since the glass is heated to as hot at 1600F. PJ loves to experiment and welcomes design and color suggestions.
