Slumped Glass VasesEach vase is hand made, so vase measurements, diameter and colors will vary slightly. The artist begins with flat sheets of art glasses, which she carefully cuts and arranges. She places the glass in a kiln and slowly heats it to about 1500 F. The heat, gravity and amount of time in the kiln work their magic -- and voilá! -- you have a beautiful vase. All are approximately 6" tall. Retail price ranges from $35 to $55.To get a closer look at any of the vases, a mouse click will take you to our close-up page so you can view a larger version.
