Because you know that your craft project can only be as interesting as the materials you use. These design papers are original designs by Myra Anson Nicholas, made as digital paintings in Adobe Photoshop and then output on a variety of media, depending on what suits the project. The digital paintings are in high-resolution, so the detail and intensity of the image can be pretty amazing. Our design library exceeds 2,000 different designs and color combinations, so please check with us for special requests. For paper beads or fans: Designs are output onto a porous 20# bond. For variation, they can be output onto colored paper. You can see by the different colored strips, that varying the color of the paper makes the designs more interesting. This paper, when dipped into Myra's easy non-toxic "secret sauce" (see How to make paper beads for the recipe), will brighten up & get "crisp". The dipping liquid "plasticizes" the paper and makes the beads quite hard. For laminating: Designs are output on a high-resolution digital press.
